Hinjewadi is situated along the Mumbai Highway (NH-48) on the north-western side of Pune. It is a well-known employment center 19 km from Pune city.
The Mumbai Highway (NH-48), Dange Chowk Road, and Hinjewadi-Aundh Road connect the neighborhood to other notable parts of Pune. Within the city, the buses run by Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML), cabs, and autorickshaws provide public transit.
